Also, white’s 18. d5 move added insult to black’s position while GM Nakamura continued to break black’s weak kingside pawn structure, resulting in a hopeless position. Nf4 trapping the queen at h3. Amazing imagination by black, only with strong courage and will to withstand a rampaging Benko Gambit Attack. Fantastic Game!!! The 2nd featured game: Nice strategic play by Super GM Hikaru Nakamura. White cannot prevent the pawn at a4 to go to a2 square and the rook at a8 will move via d8 to d2 attacking the f2 pawn and occupying the 7th rank for both rooks which is winning. This is an example that as long as there are still active pieces no matter how bad the pawn structure, anything can happen. Thank you for the support… keep positive minded. Cheers…
