30/August/Elegant game!!! Both wanted to win, but the black’s weak pawn structures was the deciding factor. I applaud Super GM Nijat Abasov for his effort and fighting skills to play his best against “THE GOAT” Magnus Carlsen.
The 2nd featured game: Artfully played by Super GM Caruana. There is no better way to play against an aggressive player like Super GM Abasov but to sense every threat and repel it with counter offense. Lovely game…

GM Anish Giri played smoothly, countered black's offense at the kingside then took advantage of inaccurate moves of black's defense. followed with lethal combination. Wonderful game.
