20/May/2023 – Very entertaining game from both GMs. Congratulations to Super GM Alireza Firouzja, he held his hopes high and deserved a fantastic win. What a fighting game, I have never thought black would lose having a solid and good defense in the middle game, still, anything can happen in chess.
The 2nd featured game: Amazing!!! After white’s 13. e5 move, Super GM Caruana dictated the tempo of the game. Black has no clear path to level the position but just reacting to white’s threat. Since white is pawn up, in the endgame, it is much easier to find the winning moves. Great game… Super GM Fabiano Caruana. I hope you enjoyed the game and thank you for your support. White game plan: Control the center, develop all pieces and watch for black tactical play at kingside.
GM Anish Giri played smoothly, countered black's offense at the kingside then took advantage of inaccurate moves of black's defense. followed with lethal combination. Wonderful game.

White Game Plan: Pin the knight at f6 and do not allow the dark bishop to play a part.
GM Vladimir Kramnik is always spectacular when he plays the Bayonet Attack. His style play is very entertaining, structured and classy. But coffee first...enjoy...
